PINE CLADDING SYSTEMS
Grown and milled in New Zealand, pine cladding systems are as Kiwi as you can get. Our local home construction history was built on the strength, versatility and durability of wooden weatherboards. Today’s pine products continue this heritage in a way that’s both affordable and sustainable.
Benefits of Pine cladding
Sustainable:
The pine cladding supplied and installed by Taylor Superclad is sourced from carefully-managed New Zealand plantation radiata pine forests. Pine trees capture and retain a reservoir of carbon, stopping it entering the atmosphere.
Cost effective:
Because pine is grown locally, transport costs in the supply chain are minimised.
Thermal efficiency:
Pine cladding provides a level of insulation, helping to keep homes cool in summer and warmer in winter.
Treated for durability:
The pine cladding products we use have been treated to H3.1 and are manufactured in accordance with NZ3617 standard. They are also coated with a machine-applied alkyd primer in a controlled factory environment.
A lifespan of at least 50 years:
When correctly installed, a service life of 50 years or more is expected.
